Heavy downpours and thunderstorms are moving away from metro Atlanta, according to Channel 2 Action News.

Earlier, heavy rain led to reports of flooding on I-75 South in Cobb County and the Braves game was delayed.

In Carroll County, storms led to a flash flood warning through midnight, meteorologist Brad Nitz said.

Rain is expected to return Tuesday with a 60 percent chance of showers and storms.

Currently, the temperature is 77 degrees in Atlanta.

Tropical Storm Bret in the Atlantic is headed toward the Caribbean, meteorologist Brian Monahan said, and a tropical storm warning has been issued off the coast of Louisiana.
