Below-average temps to last through evening

Gray skies and cool temperatures are expected to stick around most of the evening, according to Channel 2 Action News.

“It feels cold,” Channel 2 meteorologist Brad Nitz said, especially after sunshine and warm weather Saturday.

Temperatures stayed below the average 74-degree high for this time of year.

Currently, the temperature is 62 degrees in Atlanta.

The good news is rain helped clear the pollen.

The count was down from 117 particles per cubic meter of air Sunday to 11 particles per cubic meter of air Monday, according to Atlanta Allergy and Asthma.

That’s the lowest pollen count Atlanta has seen since Feb. 8, when it was at 5.
