Some sprinkles and light showers around Monday should not be enough to impact any plans, according to Channel 2 Action News.
That’s if you have any plans at all Monday. With concerns over the coronavirus, most school districts around metro Atlanta are closed and the city is under a state of emergency. For those venturing out, traffic should be light most of the week as a result.

The weather conditions Monday may not be enough to tempt anyone outdoors. Gone are the highs in the 70s and the sunshine from the weekend, Channel 2 meteorologist Brian Monahan said.
Monday will see a lot of clouds and temperatures in the 50s, he said.
“But I promise you springtime weather ... is right around the corner,” he said. “It’s the last Monday of winter. Spring officially starts Thursday night.”
Rain is 40% likely all day long, according to Channel 2. Monahan said the rain activity will be light, with hit-and-miss showers through the evening.
North Georgia won’t see many breaks in the clouds, he said, and a northeast wind will keep things cool. Between a start in the mid-50s and early this afternoon, temperatures are only expected to rise a few degrees for a projected high of 57.
“Instead of 70s and 80s, it’s going to be 50s for a lot of us today from Atlanta north and east,” Monahan said. “Across our western counties, you're going to be a lot warmer this afternoon.”
Areas to the west will be closer to 70s for highs Monday, he said. By the end of the week, all of North Georgia will warm up.
There are a few more rainy days in the forecast to get through first. Late Monday, Monahan said a front approaching from the north will bring some more showers to the northeast Georgia mountains.
“A lot of that will stay to our north though overnight, so just a few showers around Tuesday morning and into the afternoon as this front starts to move in,” he said.
Thunderstorms are possible Wednesday, and after a dry day Thursday, more storms are in the forecast to end the work week, according to Channel 2.
“Friday we'll bring some storms back in, but we'll have highs near 80 degrees,” Monahan said.
No major traffic problems are expected for the duration of the Monday morning drive, according to the WSB 24-hour Traffic Center.
“We expect the interstates to be a breeze all morning long,” traffic reporter Mark Arum said.
In Kennesaw, drivers were slowing down for construction on I-75 South at Barrett Parkway, the Traffic Center reported. There are only slight delays with a left lane blocked.
“No need for an alternate route heading down toward Marietta,” Arum said.
In Gwinnett County, the southbound lanes of Buford Highway are shut down at Jones Mill Road after an overnight injury crash. Police are still on scene, the Traffic Center reported at 6 a.m.
