You’ll get one more day of it before rain chances increase later in the week.

Expect shower-free conditions through Wednesday with partly cloudy skies, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Tuesday night should be dry with partly cloudy skies and lows in the 70s.

The temperature is 84 degrees in Atlanta, Channel 2 reported. Atlanta missed the expected high of 89 degrees, the average high for this time of year.

A dry day accompanied the warm temps — good news for students heading home from the first day of school in Cherokee County, the cities of Atlanta and Decatur and five other districts.

Expect humidity and rain to return later in the week, according to Channel 2. Rain chances increase to 30 percent Thursday and 60 percent Friday.
