Where eagles soar in North Alabama

Spot an eagle at Lake Guntersville State Park in North Alabama.

The park recently underwent a four-year, $25 million renovation.

Another eagle spotted during a recent January weekend.

A nesting pair of bald eagles along the Tennessee River near the Guntersville Dam. The male (right) flies to the nest with a fish to feed the two chicks.

With any luck, an informed guide and a lot of patience, you can spot an eagle while visiting Lake Guntersville State Park in North Alabama on weekends in January.
