Looking for something to do in Mobile? Visit the imposing Bellingrath Mansion which is furnished with antiques that Bessie Bellingrath acquired during her travels. Her husband, Walter, made his fortune as owner of a Coca-Cola franchise.

Visitors can spend an entire day at the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park. Tour battleships from World War II to Desert Storm including the USS Alabama (WWII), the submarine USS Drum (WWII), and 24 combat aircraft, including the kind flown by the famed Tuskegee Airmen.

The ironwork on the Richards D.A.R. House depicts the four seasons.

The Richards Daughters of the American Revolution House Museum is another site worth visiting since it is one of Mobile's finest examples of Italianate style. Interior furnishings reflect Mobile's antebellum period. It is open for tours seven days a week.
