Rolonda and Leonard Wright's spacious Druid Hills home features classic decor and plenty of room for entertaining family and friends.

Rolonda and Leonard Wright's seven-bedroom, six-bathroom home occupies approximately 5,000 square feet. "We're 10 minutes from downtown Decatur, Buckhead and downtown Atlanta," says Rolonda of the Druid Hills community she and her husband Leonard bought into six years ago. "Although we live in Dekalb County, we have an Atlanta zip code." The landscaping features dogwoods, annuals and perennials.

"Moving from East Cobb, we desired something inside the Perimeter, easy access to the expressway and a good return on investment," explains Rolonda Wright. "This area provided just that."

"Some areas evolved and then our designers [Barbara Elliott and Jennifer Ward Woods of Interiors by Decorating Den] completed the look ... [they] brought everything together," offers Rolanda. "I gave a vision and [they] transformed the spaces." Pictured is the living room.

For folks who haven't seen the Wright's home, Rolonda describes it as "Just nice. I don't really talk about it to people who have not seen it." Pictured in the family den is an oversized straw coffee table that can double as seating.

The Wrights recruited Barbara Elliott and Jennifer Ward Woods of Interiors by Decorating Den to design every room on the home's first level, including the home office (pictured). "Accessory pieces in the office were collected while traveling [through] China and South Africa," adds Rolonda.

The keeping room and den is appointed with plush seating in soft tones to maintain the neutral and light palette that flows seamlessly between the kitchen and casual dining area.

Rolanda, owner of Mint Julep Consignment Boutique notes, "The kitchen and dining room are the areas that are most utilized for entertaining our guests and they really enjoy these areas."

The kitchen's open floor plan caters to a young, active family that's on the go, though Rolonda admits she's also great at making reservations.

Rolanda says their annual Christmas party is one of the times the dining room (pictured) is a busy hosting portal. "We're always inviting guests over for fun."
