It's all about family at Andruw and Nicole Jones' house

Private Quarters visits the Duluth home of Braves center fielder Andruw Jones and his wife, Nicole.

Braves player Andruw Jones, his wife Nicole and their three-year-old son, Druw, at their home at Sugarloaf Country Club in Duluth. Andruw and Nicole are event ambassadors for the Jaden's Ladder gala and celebrity golf tournament Nov. 10 and 11, 2007. The nonprofit organization assists survivors of domestic violence.

A winding walkway leads up to the front door of the main house. The Jaden's Ladder gala is from 6 p.m. to midnight Nov. 10 at a private Buckhead estate. The tournament, where golfers get a chance to hit the links with celeb partners, is the next morning at Heritage Golf Course in Tucker. Tickets are $250 for the gala, and $650 for an individual round of golf (which includes two tickets to the gala).

Liberal use of scrolled ironwork on the bannister matches the ironwork of the massive front doors in the main foyer.

Arched windows that stretch up to a tray ceiling and a large crystal chandelier dominate the muted tones of the formal living room.

Nicole Jones's favorite room in the house is this living room.

Just off of the main foyer is the formal dining room, furnished with a table that features an inlaid border in a Greek key pattern.

Dozens of photographs of family and friends line the granite countertop in the butler's pantry between the kitchen and formal dining room.

The kitchen is equipped with Thermador appliances, including the six-burner professional style gas cooktop at left. The cherry finish on the cabinets plays off the granite countertops and give this modern kitchen a traditional polish.

This informal dining area, a perfect setting for breakfast or lunch, is part of the open kitchen and family room area.

A curving sectional sofa invites a big crowd to sit in the family room adjacent to the kitchen.

A large photograph of 3-year-old Druw greets anyone who climbs to the top of the back staircase.

The walkway that connects the main house to the guest house features faux painted walls and furniture with a modern take on the neo-classical style.

An Asian statue greets guests at the foyer of the guest house. The trim in the foyer hints at the liberal use of woodwork throughout the home.

Andruw Jones, the Braves former centerfielder, and his wife, Nicole, have a large estate in Duluth's Sugarloaf Country Club.

The guest house also boasts a music room with a lighted piano.

This is the entry area to the guest house of the sprawling Sugarloaf Country Club home. When the Jones family bought the main house, this was a vacant lot. Not wanting neighbors close to them, they bought the lot and decided to add the guest house and connect the two structures with an interior walkway.

This is one of several rooms on the terrace level where Andruw displays his large collection of autographed baseballs, bats, athletic shoes, jerseys, photographs, Gold Glove awards and other sports memorabilia.

The bed in son Druw's Caribbean-themed bedroom looks like a boat. The walls are an island view mural, including beach scenes. Druw's dad is a native of Curacao.
