A seafood restaurant has sprung up in a high-visibility space in Ansley Park.

Octopus Kitchen opened earlier this month at 1551 Piedmont Ave. NE. The building was previously home to Lazy Llama Cantina, which closed in July. Before that, it was the original location of Hobnob Neighborhood Tavern.

The menu features a variety of seafood options, including crabmeat soup topped with puff pastry and Mediterranean sea bass, as well as several meat dishes like chicken wings and lamb chops. The restaurant also has a full bar.

Octopus Kitchen has an indoor dining room, but an outdoor covered patio takes up the majority of the space. Hookah is offered in an outdoor garden area.
