Whether a concert video, movie or the crack of a bat in a baseball game, the sound produced from the multi-speaker system is crisp and clear at any volume level.
Don’t be fooled (like I was) by the size of the system’s delivery box. While there is lots of packing protection, there are also lots of parts and pieces in the system.
An Enclave representative told me the Cinehome system is “the ideal surround sound for a single room, not a whole house or anything like that.”
This was my first testing of a system with WiSA wireless technology. If you’re like me, you have no idea what that stands for so I’ll tell you: Wireless Speaker and Audio.
The Enclave Audio Cinehome system has five speakers and a subwoofer.
The front speakers measure 12.4-by-4.7-by-7.7-inches, the rear speakers 5.0 -by-8.1-by-4.3-inches and the subwoofer is 17.7-by-12-by-13-inches.
In all you get 14 individual speaker drivers, giving you 360 degrees of surround sound.
There is a little setup to get things running but it’s pretty straightforward and doesn’t take much time. The speakers are AC powered and communicate wirelessly through the Smart Center (5-by-12.4-by-17.7-inches) speaker.
All the buttons to control the speaker are easy to access on the top, while the HDMI, optical audio, power and 3.5mm ports are on the back. A wireless remote is included.
The Cinehome brings outstanding movie theater sound to your home. If you have reclining chairs with cup holders and popcorn you’ll never leave the room — trust me.

The wireless Braven BRV-XXL is another great audio system with a boom box look.
It’s promoted as a tank-like (20.25-by-8.25-by-9.5-inches, 18-pounds), king of Bluetooth speaker. While the portable Bluetooth/Near Field Communication speaker market is a pretty crowded field, I’d say this is near the top.
Once you crank it up you’ll get incredibly clear head-banging HD sound coming from four drivers and a subwoofer.
The body is built with aircraft-grade aluminum and has an IPX5 waterproof rating keeping it safe from spills and splashes. Inside is a 15,600mAh battery to power the sound and also can be used as a charging source for other portable devices with the 5V/1A USB port.
Sound adjustments, volume, battery level indicator and track selection controls are built into the side. You even get a mic input if you have a microphone to sing along.

SanDisk has released the next generation iXpand Flash Drive with a newly designed and user-friendly app.
