Happy 4/20, Austin! We've been told there's some sort of herbal significance to that date, but we can't imagine what anyone is talking about, so you'll have to explain it to us. Here's what tech blogs are buzzing about  this morning:

Yahoo released better than expected earnings (but expectations weren't high), and CEO Marissa Mayer says the company is being responsive to buyout offers. Those interested are said to include Verizon, Bain Capital, Vista Equity Patners and TPG.

This morning's bombshell news was that the EU has formally filed an antitrust complaint against Alphabet for hindering competition with its Android mobile operating system.

In brighter news for Alphabet, we're seeing the most detailed look yet at the mixed-reality company, Magic Leap, acquired by Alphabet in a tantalizing peek from Wired.  The publication sent Kevin Kelly to Florida to see what's up.

Slowdown in the PC industry is hurting the chipmaker in a big way, to the tune of 12,000 jobs, or about 11 percent of its workforce.
