The Ray, the newest activity monitor created by Misfit, monitors steps and helps you achieve daily fitness goals.
What sets the Ray apart from similar accessories is that it looks more like jewelry than a fitness monitor. Misfit already has the Shine and the Flash in its lineup but the Ray is a totally new, fashionable design.
The Ray is a small tube that holds three 393 button cell batteries. They should last up to 6 months so there’s no charging necessary.
The body of the Ray is sweat/water-resistant to 50 meters and made with an attractive aircraft-grade anodized aluminum. Additionally, there are hidden 8mm spring bars for future custom accessories.
After an easy setup it syncs automatically with your smartphone (iOS and Android) via Bluetooth for logging steps, calories, distance, activity types and quality sleep duration.
When you tap the Ray’s multicolor LED display, it displays your progress through the day without having to check your phone. There’s a handy option to turn on a vibration alert when a phone call or text message comes in. A similar feature can be used to alert you when you have been inactive for too long.
If you have been a Misfit Shine user, you’ll love that the Ray allows you to use the same app for logging your activities. The app lets you tell it which device you’re wearing to switch back and forth with ease, keeping activity logs from both devices in one place.

The PolarPro Trippler is a travel-friendly three-in-one photography accessory for a Go-Pro, compact point-and-shoot or a smartphone.
The main features of the lightweight accessory are an extension pole, grip and a mini tripod.
It ranges from 10-inches as a grip or up to 28-inches of reach for a selfie stick or as a tripod.
The base is made with an ergonomic rubber grip and divides into three extension legs to form the tripod. The durable extension pole is constructed of aluminum and glass filled nylon. One feature I wish it did have is an attachment for a carabiner.
