Mike Esterl
Mike Esterl is a senior editor at The Atlanta-Journal Constitution who helps oversee state coverage and enterprise stories. He has more than two decades of experience as a reporter, editor and manager on three continents. Before joining the AJC in 2018, he was a reporter at The Wall Street Journal and Latin America Editor at Dow Jones Newswires. He grew up in Canada, where he planted thousands of trees, once during a June snowstorm, and has an M.A. in English Literature from the University of Toronto. When he’s not chasing news, he likes to hike and bike with his family and listen to The Tragically Hip.
