Ashleigh Ewald
Ashleigh Ewald was a Digital/Producer intern for fall 2023. She has overcome experiences including foster care and adoption disruption to resolution. In doing so, Ashleigh has been published on digital media outlets such as Thought Catalog, Atlanta Magazine, Youth Radio (YR) Media, Daily Free Press, and much more. During the 2022 Georgia Midterms Election, Ashleigh mobilized colleges across campus to get out the vote among students and shared her team's work in an international documentary produced by SRF Schweizer Radio und Fernsehen. Ashleigh was interviewed in a newspaper discussing voter youth turnout by one of Japan's top four biggest newspapers, The Asahi Shimbun Newspaper. Her purpose in creating meaningful content is to empower others to find their voice and use their story as motivation to do more for the community. She can be found spending time outside of work, doing cardio at the gym, preparing her podcast for the next episode, and being academically studious.
