Linebacker Reuben Foster spent four seasons at Alabama with an Auburn tattoo, but the former 5-star recruit has an explanation.

Recruited by both Alabama and Auburn, Foster struggled in deciding between the two SEC West schools, but ultimately had the tattoo done a few months before deciding on Alabama on National Signing Day in 2013.

Foster’s tattoo has since been changed to honor his cousin and former Auburn fullback Ladarious Phillips who was killed in 2012.

Foster is considered a top NFL Draft prospect despite his argument with a hospital employee during his medical examination at the NFL Combine that sent him home without competing.
