After its thrilling win at Notre Dame last weekend, Georgia returns home to host Samford in a non-conference game.

Last meeting: Georgia and Samford have met once -- Georgia winning 39-0 in Athens in 1943 in Athens.
QB matchup: Jake Fromm passed for 141 yards, one touchdown and one interception in the 20-19 win over Notre Dame. Devin Hodges rushed and passed for 367 yards and three touchdowns as Samford defeated West Alabama.
Did you know? UGA coach Kirby Smart began his coaching career at Valdosta State in 2000 as an assistant under Chris Hatcher, now the head coach at Samford.
