Kirby Smart keeps UGA tradition of visiting Camp Sunshine

There are countless traditions that make Georgia football great: the Dawg Walk, the Battle Hymn and Uga’s consistent presence on the sideline just to name a few.
But the Dawgs renew a lesser-known tradition every summer with a trip to Camp Sunshine, a week-long recreational program for children with cancer. The team shared smiles with the campers last week and brought a little more positivity to the already cheerful campgrounds.

Fans were excited to see that highly touted rookie quarterback Justin Fields joined the team on their trip to Decatur, but they were also quick to notice defensive back DeAngelo Gibbs was back in the red and black after missing the end of last season and the entirety of spring semester.
