What to know about Georgia State’s spring football game

Here's what to know about Georgia State's spring football game on Saturday.

1. The game will be held at Grady High School Stadium

Since the Panthers’ new home at Turner Field is not yet complete, the Panthers will play Saturday’s Blue-White game at Grady High School’s football stadium at 929 Monroe Dr NE, Atlanta, GA 30308.

2. The first spring game under coach Shawn Elliott

The Panthers’ 2017 spring game is the first game coach Shawn Elliott will serve as Panthers’ head coach. Elliott was hired in December and replaced former coach Trent Miles who was fired with two games remaining in the 2016 season.

3. The game will kick-off at noon

At 11:30, the Panthers will warm up and the game will kick off at noon. The game is expected to last about 90 minutes.

4. Grady parking will be limited

There will be limited parking available at the Grady High School lot. The entrance to the lot is on 10th Street and will operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Shuttles are available for fans parking at Georgia State’s campus and Georgia State’s Sports Arena G Deck.

5. Free festivities surrounding event

At 10 a.m., Georgia State will hold a free youth clinic with the team and staff on the field of Grady High School Stadium.

At 11 a.m. an egg hunt will be held for children attending the event.
