After being called up by the Atlanta Braves Tuesday, 20-year-old right handed pitcher Mike Soroka pitched in his first major league game.

In the first of a three-game series against the New York Mets at Citi Field,  Soroka pitched six innings with one earned run, five strikeouts and zero walks.

The Braves went on to win, 3-2.
