Instead of speaking with media Wednesday, Philadelphia Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins held up signs he wrote about social injustice and why the Eagles and other NFL teams have been speaking out.

Jenkins held up several signs that included, “You’re not listening,” “Chris Long gave his entire year’s salary to educational initiatives,” and “Colin Kaepernick gave $1 million to charity.”

NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reported Jenkins responded to questions the media asked him Wednesday by holding up several signs and did not speak.

Jenkins' response comes after President Donald Trump and the White House rescinded the Eagles invitation to the traditional White House championship celebration Monday. According to two statements by the White House, Trump believed there were not enough Eagles players attending to justify the visit.

Jenkins was one of several Eagles players to speak out against police brutality and social injustices by silently protesting during the playing of the national anthem last season. Jenkins was usually seen peacefully raising a fist during the playing of the national anthem and being supported by his teammates.
