Georgia Tech might not have taken care of the football Saturday against Pittsburgh, but it took care of business against the northern foe winning 35-17 at Bobby Dodd Stadium.

The Yellow Jackets (2-1, 1-0) had four fumbles while rushing for 436 yards on the Panthers’ (1-3, 0-1) defense. B-back KirVonte Benson led the team with 196 yards, two touchdowns and two fumbles on 29 carries. Quarterback TaQuon Marshall added 112 yards and two touchdowns on 18 rushes.

Georgia Tech’s defense made up for the offenses’ miscues. On the four turnovers, the Panthers’ were forced into three 3-and-outs and a missed field goal. The Yellow Jackets relinquished only 37 rushing yards on 20 carries while racking up seven sacks against Pittsburgh’s passing game. Defensive ends KeShun Freeman and Antonio Simmons each had two sacks.
