Georgia took home the first SEC tournament softball title in school history late Saturday night with a 5-2 victory against Kentucky in Columbia, S.C.

Georgia (45-12) has defeated six consecutive top-16 teams and will learn its NCAA tournament draw at 10 p.m. Sunday. The selection show will be televised by ESPNU.

Georgia had four players selected to the SEC all-tournament team: Chelsea Wilkinson, Paige Wilson, Geri Ann Glasco and Alex Hugo. Wilkinson, who went 3-0 during the tournament to make her season record 29-7, was chosen tourney MVP.

Glasco was 3-for-4 with a home run, a run scored and two RBI in the title clinching victory. Wilson drove in two runs.
