1. Redskins coverage units vs. Falcons returners Jacquizz Rodgers and Robert McClain: Kansas City's Quintin Demps returned a kickoff 95 yards for a touchdown and Dexter McCluster returned a punt 74 yards for a touchdown against the Redskins last week. The Redskins gave up 300 yards on nine returns. The Falcons do not have a return for a touchdown this season. Rodgers is averaging 22.4 yards on 20 kickoff returns and McClain is averaging 9.2 yards on 11 punt returns.

2. Redskins CB DeAngelo Hall vs. Falcons WR Roddy White: Hall has 42 career interceptions. He was re-signed by the Redskins this offseason after being released. He leads the Redskins with three interceptions and has returned two for touchdowns. White appears to be finally over his right ankle and left hamstring injuries. He's caught 18 passes for 217 yards over the past two games.

3. Redskins RB Alfred Morris vs. Falcons LB Paul Worrilow: Morris, who rushed for more than 1,600 yards as a rookie last season, has 1,027 yards on 218 carries and six touchdowns. With quarterback Kirk Cousins making his first start of the season and the Falcons featuring the league's 30th ranked run defense, the Redskins figure to lean heavily on Morris. He ran for 115 yards on 18 carries against the Falcons last season. Worrilow, an undrafted rookie from Delaware, is second on the team with 109 tackles, according to the Falcons' coaches film review stats. He is getting more comfortable in defensive coordinator Mike Nolan's schemes and is playing at a faster pace.
