Falcons LG Justin Blalock, C Peter Konz and RG Garrett Reynolds vs. Bucs DT Gerald McCoy: Blalock's play has been solid as he starts to bond with left tackle Lamar Holmes. McCoy, who Falcons coach Mike Smith considers the Bucs' best player, will play over both guards and the center. McCoy had a sack, three tackles for a loss and three quarterback hits against the Dolphins on Monday night. He has the ability to take over the game. In the previous meeting the Falcons' trio did a decent job of picking up the Bucs' stunts and twists. McCoy had two tackles, on tackle for a loss and one quarterback hit.
Falcons WR Harry Douglas vs. Bucs CB Darrelle Revis: Douglas caught seven passes for 149 yards and one touchdown in the teams' previous meeting. While Roddy White battles back from his various injuries, (ankle, hamstring and now shoulder), Douglas is the Falcons' No. 1 wide receiver. Revis, once considered the top cornerback in the NFL, is trying to round back into form. He has seven passes defensed and had his first interception of the season against the Dolphins.
Falcons LB Paul Worrilow vs. Bucs RBs Brian Leonard and Bobby Rainey: Worrilow, who has an instinctive knack for finding the ball, has made 38 tackles over his past two games. The next step for him is to start making more impact plays. Doug Martin is on injured reserve, and Mike James was lost with an ankle injury. Leonard had 57 yards on 20 carries and caught two passes for 16 yards in the Bucs' victory over the Dolphins. Rainey, who was cut by the Browns, scored the game-winning touchdown.
