Team to watch

Harvard

Coach: Tommy Amaker (87-54 at Harvard, 263-193 overall)

Top scorer: Forward Kyle Casey (11.0 points per game) was recruited by Stanford, Vanderbilt and others but chose the Crimson.

Top rebounder: Forward Keith Wright (8.1 rebounds per game) was named to the 50-player Wooden Award preseason watch list.

Did you know: Prior to last week, when former Harvard guard Jeremy Lin went from unknown to NBA sensation, probably the most famous Harvard basketball alumnus was U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan.

Why they matter: With an RPI of 40 and wins over top-50 teams Florida State and St. Joseph's, the Crimson could make their first NCAA tournament since 1946 even if they don't win the Ivy League.
