The Atlanta FaZe won the 2021 Call of Duty League championship with a 5-3 win over the Toronto Ultra this weekend.

The winning team consisted of Cellium, Simp, aBeZy and Arcitys.

Atlanta FaZe swept both Dallas Empire and New York Subliners to make their way through the winner’s bracket with a perfect 6-0 mark. Torono Ultra avenged an earlier loss to Dallas Empire in the loser’s bracket final, 3-2, to advance to the championship.

The victory comes one year after the Atlanta FaZe lost in the championship of the Call of Duty League.

The Atlanta FaZe is an eSports that is owned by Atlanta Esports Ventures, a partnership between Cox Enterprises and Province, Inc. It has investments in two Atlanta-based esports teams in the Atlanta FaZe and the Atlanta Reign, of the Overwatch League. Cox Enterprises owns The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
