Georgia coach Kirby Smart is optimistic that wide receiver Tyler Simmons will be back for Saturday’s game against Vanderbilt.

Simmons did not dress for the win over Tennessee with a shoulder injury Saturday, but Smart said he expected Simmons would participate in practice Monday.

“We’re hopeful to get him back,” Smart said of Simmons Monday. “He ran all last week. He’s going to practice today. He might have a harness for his shoulder.”

Simmons, a junior from Powder Springs, played in the Bulldogs first four games this season with 19 yards on three receptions and 80 yards rushing and one touchdown.
