1. Phillies beat Braves, 6-1

The Philadelphia Phillies won their 12th game of the season against the Atlanta Braves on Monday night. The Braves, who lost Monday's game 6-1, have lost all eight games played at the Phillies' Citizen's Bank Park this season. The Braves play the second of four games at the Phillies on Tuesday at 7:05 p.m.

2. Falcons face tough decision regarding Collins

After receiving word of his 10-game suspension in early August, D. Orlando Ledbetter writes the Atlanta Falcons have a tough decision to make involving cornerback Jalen Collins' future with the team. The Falcons must cut the 91 man roster to 53 players by Saturday at 4 p.m.

3. Former Georgia quarterback Matthew Stafford to become highest-paid player in NFL history

Former University of Georiga quarterback Matthew Stafford and the Detroit Lions reportedly agreed to a five-year contract extension worth $135 million. The deal would make Stafford the highest-paid player in NFL history.

4. KirVonte Benson wins Georgia Tech's B-back spot

Georgia Tech redshirt sophomore KirVonte Benson will start at B-back for the Yellow Jackets in the season opener against Tennessee, coach Paul Johnson announced on Monday. Benson won the job after starting B-back Dedrick Mills was dismissed from the team on Aug. 18.

5. How much can Dansby Swanson improve?
