Here are a few things to know on Tuesday:

1. Braves lose to Phillies, 7-6

The Philadelphia Phillies completed a four-game sweep of the Atlanta Braves with 7-6 win on Monday night. The Braves have now lost eight of the past nine games. The Braves begin a three-game home series against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday at 7:35 p.m. from SunTrust Park.

2. Falcons return to training camp

After a day off on Monday, the Atlanta Falcons return to training camp on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. The practice is open to the public. Take a look at the Falcons updated depth chart entering Tuesday.

3. Braves call up pitcher Lucas Sims

Gwinnett Braves pitcher Lucas Sims will make his first major-league start on Tuesday against the Los Angeles Dodgers. The 23-year-old Sims fills the opening left in the starting rotation by the Jamie Garcia trade last week.

4. See how Georgia State turned Turner Field into Georiga State Stadium

Media members went on a tour of Georgia State Stadium on Monday ahead of football coach Shawn Elliott's first season with the Panthers. Visit the AJC.com for photos of old Turner Field as a football stadium.

5. Matt Ryan: Warriors serve as "inspiration" for Falcons

Before the Falcons blew a 28-3 lead in Super Bowl LI, the Golden State Warriors were the butt of almost every joke in the sports world— something the Falcons can resonate with. The Warriors lost a 3-1 series lead over the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2016 NBA Finals only to return to the Finals in 2017 and win the title. Quarterback Matt Ryan thinks the Warriors failure and rise from the ashes can be an inspiration for the Dirty Birds of 2017.
