Here are a few things to know on Friday:

1. Falcons continue open training camp

The Atlanta Falcons second day of training camp on Friday is open to fans. For information on what you need to know if you're attending, a recap or photos from the first day of training camp, visit the AJC.com.

2. Braves to start series with Phillies

The Braves will begin a four-game series against the Philadelphia Phillies on Friday from Philadelphia's Citizen's Bank Park. Friday's game will begin at 7:05 p.m.

3. Eubanks advances to Atlanta Open quarterfinals

Atlanta native and Georgia Tech senior Christopher Eubanks advanced to the 2017 BB&T Atlanta Open quarterfinals on Thursday. Although his opponent Jared Donaldson was favored, Eubanks won in three sets, 6-4, 4-6, 6-2.

4. Acuna, Albies put on a show with Gwinnett Braves

In the tenth inning on Thursday night, Gwinnett Braves Ronald Acuna hit a walk-off double, scoring Ozzie Albies and giving the G-Braves a 3-2 win over the Lehigh Valley IronPigs.

5. Atlanta United to play Orlando City

Atlanta United will return home to play Orlando City on Saturday in the teams' second match up in eight days. Striker Josef Martinez is not expected to play in Saturday's match because of a foot contusion that flared up during the first game against Orlando City on July 21 in Orlando. Saturday's match begins at 5 p.m. at Bobby Dodd Stadium.
