Carolina Panthers’ kicker Harrison Butler walked at Georgia Tech graduation on Saturday after signing his rookie contract with his new NFL team.

One of 63 student athletes to graduate on Saturday, Butker tweeted on Friday that he was thankful to the Panthers for allowing him to travel back to Atlanta to receive his undergraduate degree.

A Westminster School graduate, Butker graduated from Tech with a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering.

Butler was drafted in the seventh round of the 2017 NFL Draft. The 233rd overall selection, Butker was the first kicker drafted by the Panthers in franchise history.
