Georgia basketball coach Joni Taylor extended a 2021 offer to point guard Raven Johnson on Tuesday.

Johnson, an eighth grader at Sandtown Middle School in Atlanta, Ga., announced her offer on Twitter on Tuesday night.

“I'm a very thankful to Coach Joni and her team of coaches for believing in me and my talent,” Johnson said. “It shows me that hard work pays off and I am going to keep working to get better.”

Johnson, 5-foot-8, also received an offer from Georgia Tech in November.

Johnson plays for Sandtown Middle and the Finest Basketball Club (FBC) — a year-round travel team.
