Free agent defensive end Adrian Clayborn was traveling to visit the New England Patriots Thursday, according to a report by ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

In three seasons with the Falcons, Clayborn recorded 17 sacks, 50 tackles, two forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries and two touchdowns.

Clayborn, a seven-year veteran, was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with the 20th overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft out of Iowa.
