Report: Former Bulldog Malcom Mitchell placed on injured reserve

NFL.com insider Ian Rapoport tweeted Thursday that Patriots wide receiver Malcolm Mitchell, a former Georgia Bulldog, is being placed on injured reserve.

Mitchell was previously reported Wednesday as questionable for Thursday night's season opener against the Chiefs.
