Free agent defensive tackle and former Atlanta Falcon Dontari Poe will reportedly sign with the NFC South rival the Carolina Panthers, according to the Washington Post’s Kimberly Martin.

NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport reported the deal is for three years and will be worth between $9 million and $10 million.

Poe signed a one-year, $8 million deal with the Falcons back in March. In his lone season in Atlanta, Poe recorded 39 tackles including 2.5 sacks. General manager Thomas Dimitroff said at the NFL Scouting combine a few weeks ago it was going to be tough for the Falcons to keep Poe.
