In the first at bat of Monday’s game against the Colorado Rockies, Atlanta Braves outfielder Ender Inciarte nearly scored an inside-the-park home run.

The leadoff batter for the Braves, Inciarte hit a fly ball that bounced in front of Rockies left fielder Gerardo Parra and rolled into the corner of left field.

Inciarte sprinted around to third base and decided to run home when Parra finally got his hand on the ball, only to be thrown out at home by Rockies catcher Jonathan Lucroy.

Watch the whole thing below:

The Braves went on to lose Monday’s game 3-0, but Atlanta continues the four-game series against the Rockies on Tuesday at 8:40 p.m. at Dever’s Coors Field.
