While the Atlanta Braves lost Wednesday night's series finale against the Philadelphia Phillies at SunTrust Park, Danny Santana provided a brief glimpse of hope for Braves fans in the seventh inning.

With two strikes and two outs, Santana— who pinch-hit for pitcher Jose Ramírez— hit a two-run single to right field, scoring Tyler Flowers and Ozzie Albies.

With the Braves trailing by the game’s final score of 3-2, Santana stole second when Ender Inciarte stepped up to the plate, but Inciarte struck out swinging.

The Braves have Thursday off, but travel to St. Louis to begin a three-game series against the Cardinals on Friday at 8:15 p.m.
