Kwadwo Poku, who formerly played for the Silverbacks and Georgia Revolution, scored a wonderful goal for New York City FC on Wednesday in their match against Toronto.

Taking the ball on the left side of the penalty box and with very little angle to shoot, Poku bent a right-footed shot around the goalkeeper and into the far right corner to give his team a 1-0 lead.

Poku, a midfielder that many Atlanta United supporters actively petition on social media for the team to sign should he become available, has played in just five games this season for New York. That was his first goal.

In two seasons with the squad he has five goals in nine starts and 32 games played.
