Big Boi will soon cross off another Atlanta sports honor.

The artist, known for being one of the two members of hip-hop duo OutKast, will drive the pace car ahead of the upcoming NASCAR Cup Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Feb. 23.

Big Boi threw out the ceremonial first pitch of a Braves game in August, when the team hosted an OutKast bobblehead giveaway. More recently, he performed during halftime of the Kansas City Chiefs divisional playoff game against the Houston Texans.

Previous honorary pace car drivers at AMS include: rugby player and Olympian Alex “Spiff” Sedrick (2024), singer and songwriter Blanco Brown (2022) and former Georgia football player D’Andre Swift (2021).
