USA Today Sports NFL writer and editor Nate Davis released his 2018 NFL season predictions including team records and Super Bowl champion.

Davis predicted the Falcons will finish the season 11-5 and win Super Bowl LIII.

Davis predicted the Falcons and the Chargers will be in Super Bowl.

“Matt Ryan and Co. will need a familiar quantum leap in Year 2 under offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian that they enjoyed in a similar scenario with Kyle Shanahan in 2016,” Davis wrote. “The difference with this club is a lightning quick defense that's in full bloom — the primary reason the Falcons came closest to derailing the Eagles in last season's playoffs.”

Super Bowl LIII is February 3, 2019 at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
