Dale Earnhardt Jr. wants your pet to ride with him in an upcoming race.

Earnhardt, who will retire from racing following the 2017 season, and sponsor Nationwide are asking fans to send an image of their dog, cat, bird, lizard for a chance to see it featured on the back of the No. 88 car in the Sept. 24 race at New Hampshire.

One winner will get a chance to see the car up close with travel expenses to New Hampshire and an opportunity to meet Earnhardt and his dog, Gus.

Other winners can win a No. 88 die-cast car signed by Earnhardt.
