NASCAR's most popular driver took to Twitter early Wednesday morning to announce to the world that he is now engaged to be married.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. and longtime girlfriend Amy Reimann both tweeted news of their engagement early Wednesday morning – the two are spending the Sprint Cup off week in Germany together.

Earnhardt currently sits fourth in the NASCAR Sprint Cup standings with one win this year.
