MLS Commissioner Don Garber is expected to attend Atlanta United’s potential record-breaking game against Orlando City on Sept. 16 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The team will try to set a league record for attendance when it hosts the Lions.

The attendance record of 69,255 was set April 13, 1996 in a game between the Los Angeles Galaxy and the N.Y./N.J. MetroStars.

Garber won’t be at Sunday’s first soccer game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium between Atlanta United and Dallas. However, other MLS executives will be in attendance.
