The Atlanta Falcons will honor former Falcons quarterback Michael Vick and wide receiver Roddy White in a retirement ceremony for both to officially retire from the NFL, the Falcons announced on Friday.

The ceremony will be held on June 12. Falcons owner and Chairman Arthur Blank, Vick, White and other special guests will be in attendance.

In his 13-year NFL career, six with the Falcons, Vick threw for 22,464 yards and 133 touchdowns. Vick, who served an 18 month prison sentence from late 2007-2009 for dogfighting, also rushed for 6,109 yards and 36 touchdowns in his career.

On May 26, Vick told 92.9 The Game's Jon Chuckery he wanted to retire as a Falcon, but later clarified his comments that he had not discussed the possibility with the Falcons at that point.

After spending all 11 years of his career with the Falcons, White accumulated 10,863 receiving yards and 63 touchdowns.
