The NFL’s reigning MVP Matt Ryan is no longer one of the world’s top 100 paid athletes.
Ryan was ranked the 10th most paid NFL player by Forbes in 2014 after signing a five-year, $103.7 million contract with the Falcons in 2013.
On Forbes' 2017 list of "The World's Highest-Paid Athletes," NFL quarterbacks are represented by Eli Manning (No. 63), Cam Newton (No. 56), Drew Brees (No. 11) and Andrew Luck (No. 6).
With two years left on his contract, Ryan is expected to earn $15.75 million in 2017 and $19.25 in 2018, according to the Falcons Wire.
