The three-time Olympic gold medalist is scheduled to plead guilty to charges in connection with steroid use, a federal law enforcement source told The Associated Press.

A confession by Jones that she lied to U.S. agents about drug use might reignite an International Olympic Committee investigation into the case and strip her of her five medals from the 2000 Sydney Games.
