The Atlanta Braves might not face New York Mets’ pitcher Noah Syndergaard until September.

After seeking a second opinion on what was reported to be a partially torn lat, Syndergaard might not pitch in a game for three months.

Syndergaard will most likely miss the Braves and Mets’ next matchup on June 9-11.

The Braves and Mets have two other series this season on Sept. 15-17 and Sept 15-27.

On Sunday against the Washington Nationals, Syndergaard left the game after feeling soreness in his biceps.

The Mets now have three starters on the disabled list as Syndergaard joins Steven Matz and Seth Lugo.

The Braves and Mets play the final game of a four-game series at SunTrust Park on Thursday at 7:35 p.m.
