While LeBron James and Steph Curry are competitors on the court for the 2018 NBA Finals, they’re united in the opinion that whichever team wins the 2018 NBA title will not visit the White House for the traditional championship ceremony.

James and Curry's were asked Tuesday during media availability for Game 3 of the series between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors what they thought of President Donald Trump and the White House rescinding the invitation to the traditional championship celebration in Washington, D.C. Tuesday from the Philadelphia Eagles.

James said it’s “typical” of the President to uninvite the Eagles from the White House and it didn’t surprise him.

“I know no matter who wins this series, no on wants the invite always so it won’t be Golden State or Cleveland going,” James said.

When asked what he thought of the President’s decision to rescind the Eagles’ invitation and told James’ response Tuesday, Curry said, “I agree with ’Bron,” according to ESPN’s Chris Haynes.

In two separate statements, one by President Donald Trump, the White House blamed the the size of the Eagles group attending on the cancellation.

In February, the Warriors declined to attend the White House ceremony honoring their 2017 NBA title and instead visited Washington’s Smithsonian National Museum of African-American History and Culture.
