Kennesaw State guard Markeith Cummings, the team's leading scorer last season, has been indefinitely suspended for conduct detrimental to the team, according to the university.

Cummings made the trip but did not play in Monday's 68-55 loss at Auburn. The action which resulted in the suspension occurred before the game.

Cummings, a 6-7 guard, led the Atlantic Sun Conference by averaging 18.3 points per game last season. He was voted the conference's preseason player of the year for this season.

He scored 18 points in the season-opening loss at Wisconsin.

Three players filled Cummings' scoring absence in the loss at Auburn. Aaron Anderson scored 13, Spencer Dixon 11 and Nick Turner added 10.
