Kobe Bryant and his Los Angeles Lakers teammates wore "I Can't Breathe" T-shirts during warm-ups before Tuesday's game against the Sacramento Kings.
LeBron James, Derrick Rose and other NBA stars also have worn the shirts in protest of the events surrounding the death of Eric Garner. A grand jury recently cleared a white New York police officer, Daniel Pantaleo, who is seen on video applying what appears to be a chokehold on the unarmed black man shortly before his death.
